Client is an online 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting grievers with over 50 e-mail support groups and a wide variety of resources. Site is a recent redesign of the original to improve navigation. Client needed a basic easy-to-use visitor interface. The site is staffed by the bereaved, for the bereaved - a volunteer work in progress.

GriefNet.org USA Memorial for 9-11

This client is the parent site for above KIDSAID.com. VHH has had some design input into the parent site - but this is a section that was important on many levels - most particularly because it was a labor of love and was meant to honor in some small way those lost and those who survived on September 11, 2001.

Pictures and themes were chosen from all over the Web and the flood of emails at the time. Although we attempted to get permission to use as many of the images as possible, we also included some copyrighted images in our effort to support and comfort visitors. We asked on each page for the patience and understanding of those who took them - and provided an offer to remove them at any time upon request. It is an additional tribute to those photographers and news agencies that they remain. Their work has helped to comfort thousands of visitors - and will continue to do so for years to come.
